Payroll Problems

CORE-CT is still creating payroll problems.

1199 CHALLENGES CORE IN ARBITRATION
1199 members are challenging the problems in arbitration.  We've rested our case, and the State of Connecticut will continue its arguments this fall.

IF YOU HAVE A PAYROLL PROBLEM:

  1. Keep all pay stubs and related documents
     
  2. Write down exactly what happened so you have an accurate record of the problem
     
  3. Report the problem to your local HR person. If the problem is not solved, contact Asst. State Comptroller Martha Carlson at 860-702-3310, fax: 860-702-3319, or email her now 
     
  4. Fill out the CORE-CT Problem Report Form form (right) or contact your organizer so we are aware of the problem.

While some problems have been fixed, it's been nearly a year and errors are ongoing, especially in:
     *  accruals
     *  compensation time
     *  part-timers paychecks
     * union membership dues payments
