On Tuesday, January 2nd, Governor Malloy issued an executive order to change the structure of Connecticut’s only maximum-security hospital, Whiting Forensic Division. The order was signed, separating the Whiting Forensic Division from Connecticut Valley Hospital — a state-run psychiatric hospital in Middletown.
