Stand Up for the Developmentally Disabled

This year the RI General Assembly chose to slash services to the developmentally disabled by $24 million dollars so the very wealthy and large multi-state corporations could keep their tax breaks. The impact has been devastating to consumers and the workforce that serves them.  Community-based agencies throughout the state have already begun layoffs and slashing wages to a group of workers that is already underpaid.
