As a Union, we are committed to keeping PCAs informed on opportunities to gain priority access to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine. Please note that appointments are filling quickly, so we urge you to sign up today.
There are now 2 primary ways for PCAs and Direct Support Professionals to sign up for priority access to the vaccine:
1) Register through the Dept of Public Health system online at https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/PCA or by calling the United Way Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line at 877-918-2224 which takes calls Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 8:00pm (and will offer a call-back option when all contact specialists are busy).
2) Schedule an appointment through one of the many Hartford Healthcare sites around the State. If you have a MyChartPlus account already, simply log in and find a vaccine clinic that’s convenient for you. If you do not have a MyChartPlus account, you may set one up on the MyChartPlus.org website (more detailed instructions how to schedule your appointment) OR call 860-972-4993, option 5.
